Common questions
Can I compare more than two texts?
Yes. Add up to five texts total. The first is your baseline, and you can switch between each other version to inspect its changes.
What do the ignore options do?
Case and whitespace options reduce formatting noise, while Ignore blank lines hides empty lines from the view. Copied and downloaded diffs always include exact changes.
Are my texts uploaded or saved?
No. The comparison and file reading happen in this browser tab. Closing or refreshing it clears the input.
Which files can I open?
Open plain-text files such as TXT, Markdown, JSON, CSV, HTML, or source code. PDF and Word documents are not parsed by this tool.
How large can each text be?
Each version can contain up to 1,000,000 characters or 20,000 lines. Comparison runs in a background browser worker, and long results are shown in pages to keep the interface responsive.
